The Grande Cache United Church

Dear Friends,

We greet you in the name of Christ and wish you the blessing of the spirit.

We are honored to be able to share with you as you seek the presence of God in your life. It is our hope and prayer that the information we provide will be helpful as you walk the path of faithfulness that God has put before you.

As you review the following information about the Grande Cache United Church, you will notice that our church is a family church… single parent families, senior families, single folk, in-between folk… we all come together and form a family of God to worship, learn, praise, serve and grow.

There is a place for you in the Grande Cache United Church Family. In the words of a favorite hymn by J. Manley:

Come in, come in and sit down,

You are a part of the family.

We are lost and we are found,

And we are a part of the family.

Come and join us and take your place in the family of God’s people at Grande Cache United Church.

May God bless you this day and always.

Our Theology

We are liberal in our theology and as such seek to be an inclusive community. Our United Church creed is an example of our community.

We are not alone, we live in God’s world.

We believe in God:

who has created and is creating,

who has come in Jesus,

the Word made flesh,

to reconcile and make new,

who works in us and others

by the spirit.

We trust in God.

We are called to be the Church:

to celebrate God’s presence,

to live with respect in Creation,

to love and serve others,

to seek justice and resist evil,

to proclaim Jesus, crucified and risen,

our judge and our hope.

In life, in death, in life beyond death,

God is with us.

We are not alone.

Thanks be to God.
